nice tune there man... if you'd like some inspiration from other player doing whole and ancient tunes search for UKM-munnharpe or fanitullen. that would give you a different view of this instrument..

I've played some that are only 3 euros verses more expensive. The quality of the tone seems to increase with the expense of the instrument. A Steinway piano costs more than a Yamaha, but I prefer a Yamaha. I guess bottom line is whatever makes you happy.

The first one I got in Tucson, AZ in 1975, is supposed to be from Nashville and has the letters RICH etched in it. Haven't seen any since. I'd suggest item MMU-3 from the Dan Moi website in Germany which is a harp made in Hungary and has a similar look and tone for 22 euro. |
