Vivian is much more than an okay guitarist. People will just never get over Steve and they take his death out on Vivian. Viv is an excellent guitarist. Please watch some of his work with Dio before saying he is just and "ok" guitarist.

Vivian Campbell is an ok guitarist, that's about it, but he has never had the energy or passion that Clark brought to the band. I'm a HUGE Def fan but the fact remains that no album since Clark died has come close to anything they had before.

He is an amasing guitarist, but the more tasteful stuff phil plays, other than that his sound I dont think fits def lep, its a little obnoxious to join a band as legendary as leppard and play like he does. That said hes the only thing that I can bare on Songs From...

Steve Clark was amazing. No one can dispute that. However Vivian came into Def Leppard and has made his own in the band. I really think he's good in the band. My opinion.

yeah it is... but then again he plays so much better today cuz he has had to overcome so much. their is not another drummer who can touch him... except for Animal.
