with all due respect, you are out of touch. the notwist goes back to 1989. more, ben gibbard actully cites moor music as an influence, not the other way around. as far as i know, they were using electronica as a kind of paintbrush at least ten years before postal service became popular. get it right. you've got google too...

i dunno, i definitely see a lot of postal service in this. the voice even is similar. the lyrical content and style are simmilar. the electronic components are, too. but not in a copy cat style at all. its completely its own thing. just has obvious good influences. like every artist does. |
