I find it a remarkable quality in a person as opposed to someone who feels that every silence has to be broken with a stupid comment or remark. I like people who can recognise a time to talk and a time to be quiet, and I’m drawn to those who don’t feel the need to constantly talk in my company but can just enjoy sharing the moment with me. I’m not the most confident person, but I’ve learned to walk with my head held high. I have plenty of insecurities but I don’t hide behind a façade. I don’t feel the need to look or act a certain way to make people like me. I can’t understand people who keep their minds closed and can’t think outside a certain subculture - they must miss out on so much because they limit themselves to specific stereotypes. I have no problem with people labelling me. Appearance is a charade. Perfection is not real but a perception in a person’s mind manipulated by the current demand in society.
